NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Picks Week 16 (Fantasy Football)
Building winning GPP lineups, by definition, is tough. There are, however, some key things to look for when filling out your roster. First and foremost is ceiling, we want the players with the potential to score the most points. Next is leverage, we want the players that fall through the cracks. Finally, we have to build a lineup that tells a winning story through game script and stacking.

A final note before diving into the picks. Don’t ignore the Cash Picks article put out by Borg. His article pairs perfectly with my GPP picks article, as it’s typically a good idea to mix in some value plays, especially if they fit the GPP-winning story you write. I will be referencing it multiple times this week.
Quarterbacks
Before profiling my favorite QBs, I want to note that the options at the extreme ends of the salary scale are viable in GPPs. Josh Allen ($9,400) should probably be more expensive and could stay boiling lava hot while routing the Patriots. On the low end, Michael Penix Jr. ($6,000) is the stone minimum and carries unknown upside in a favorable matchup with the Giants. Borg wrote them both up in the Cash Picks, and they will likely be popular, so let’s get off the board with some other options.
Kyler Murray @ CAR – $8,000
The field isn’t likely to flock back to Murray after he flopped last week. Still, the matchup against Carolina has been one to target all season long. They rank 28th in schedule-adjusted points allowed to quarterbacks and just let Cooper Rush throw three touchdowns last week. Kyler has the ability to do that and add points on the ground. James Conner could be a popular play at running back, making Murray even more attractive as a GPP pivot.
