NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Picks Week 1 (Fantasy Football)
Building winning GPP lineups, by definition, is tough. There are, however, several key factors to consider when filling out your roster. First and foremost is ceiling; we want the players with potential to score the most points. Next is leverage; we want the players who fall through the cracks. Finally, we have to build a lineup that tells a winning story through game script and stacking.

Quarterbacks
Joe Burrow @ CLE – $8,000
Burrow has the second-highest QB salary on the slate, and the optimizer also projects him as the second-most rostered at the position, but at just over 17%, that’s nothing to be concerned with. As Borg points out in his Pace of Play article, this matchup with the Browns boasts the highest Game Pace Score (GPS) of the week (4.25), and the Bengals carry the highest team implied total on the slate (28.5). Coming off his first fully healthy offseason and playing with two stackable stud wideouts, Burrow has the ceiling to take down a tournament in Week 1.
