NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Picks for Week 17 (Fantasy Football)
Getting a lineup just right to win in GPP is a tough task, but there are key things to look for before hitting “save” on your lineups. Like in all levels of fantasy football, we’re looking fora high ceiling to get the most boom for our buck while pairing it with a player or two that could outperform their current cost for the week. Stacking players is a more important and common strategy in DFS than in typical fantasy to help separate from the pack.
Typically Aaron Larson is here with his keen insights for GPP plays of the week, but he’s currently lost in the Pacific Ocean somewhere so I’m here to share my insights on the best plays for Week 17!
I’ll highlight my favorite GPP game picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools. On the Fantasy Footballers DFS & Betting Podcast, Borg and Betz will dive into a couple of these but this article is intended for DFS Pass subscribers to get the full lay of the land.
On Saturdays, Borg & Betz narrow this pool of cash players to our DFS Best Plays, arguably the most valuable article in the DFS Pass.
Quarterbacks
Josh Allen vs. NE – $8800
Starting near the top, it’s tough to ignore Josh Allen after finishing as the QB2 last week. The trouble in going back to Allen this week is a matchup against a tough Patriots defense that could hold him back. New England’s defense has been tough against opposing fantasy QBs, only allowing two games of 20+ points in their last six matchups. If you’re banking on getting another QB4 finish out of Allen like in his first matchup with the Patriots in Week 7, then he may be worth spending up on, but I think there are better options that could allow you to spend elsewhere this week.
