NFL DFS FanDuel Cash Picks: Week 17 (Fantasy Football)
Hey there FootClan! I’m back to fill in for the FanDuel articles again this week while the Borgogon makes his trek to Arizona. In this edition, I’ll be featuring my favorite players for cash lineups. For more on cash game strategy and the mechanics of it, make sure you listen to the DFS Cash Overview episode. On the Fantasy Footballers DFS Podcast, Borg and Betz will dive into a couple of these, but this article is intended for DFS Pass subscribers to get the full lay of the land.
Quarterbacks
Note: Remember on FD the pricing for QBs is bunched together so seemingly “expensive” players aren’t as hard to roster as it may appear. It also typically pays to target quarterbacks that do more on the ground, since there aren’t the throwing bonuses that DraftKings offers.
Josh Allen vs. ATL – $8,800
No need to get cute here. Allen is at the top of the FanDuel salary scale, but $8,800 is a relatively affordable price to pay for the QB1 on the season in a plus matchup. Allen is averaging 29 FD points/game over the last three weeks, the Bills have a 29 point team implied total, and Atlanta has given up the 3rd most FD points to QBs on the season. It doesn’t get any safer than Allen at QB in Week 17.
