Welcome to the Conference Championship Round! Hopefully a lot of you had success last weekend in the Divisional Round. For this article, I’ll be focusing on how to approach the 2-game slate that’s being offered by DraftKings. I’ll try to provide context around each play, but on a two-game slate where the player pool is so limited, just be mindful that roster percentages do condense around the top plays.

If you’re looking for more content on this slate, be sure to check out these resources:

Lamar Jackson $7,700 vs. KC
The Ravens get a tough test here against a Chiefs defense that’s largely been great all year. One area where they’re leaky, however, is in the run game, and that’s largely where my interest in Lamar comes in. On a slate where there’s only four QBs and two of them are likely to give you zero in the run game, Lamar is the one guy on this slate who has the ability to lap the field at the QB position. The Chiefs have allowed the NFL’s second-highest YPC to runs out of the shotgun, and in three career meetings against the Chiefs with Steve Spagnuolo as the DC, Lamar’s rushing stat lines are 8/46/1, 9/83/0, and 16/107/2. We just saw Josh Allen go 12/72/2 as a runner a week ago in this matchup. On top of that, Lamar has been great as a passer recently, averaging 242 yards and 2.6 TDs over his last five games as a passer. It certainly doesn’t hurt that Mark Andrews is due back this week from his ankle surgery.
