NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 8 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have paths to a ceiling outcome at reduced roster percentage, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our lineup as well. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 8 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. For more on how to use roster percentages and build strong GPP lineups, be sure to check out this episode of the DFS Podcast.

Quarterbacks
Kyler Murray $7,500
Thanks to his dual threat ability, Kyler Murray has one of the highest ceilings on the slate among the QB position, and if Jalen Hurts fails for whatever reason, he can truly separate at the position on an otherwise weak QB slate (no Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, etc.). Minnesota’s defense is very one dimensional right now – they’re elite against the run, but atrocious against the pass. The Vikings rank #1 in rush defense DVOA over the last three weeks but 27th in pass defense DVOA in that time frame. No defense has allowed a higher yards per pass attempt than Minnesota.
