For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 4 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.

When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. For more on how to use roster percentages and build strong GPP lineups, be sure to check out this episode of the DFS Podcast.

Quarterback

*Note: This week, I want to highlight some mid range options for tournaments. Obviously, the elite QBs like Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbert, etc. are always in play for GPPs given their ceiling.

Tua Tagovailoa $7,400 @ BUF
Tua is the #3 QB in fantasy through three weeks, yet he’s priced as the QB5 on this slate. You could argue he’s still undervalued based on what we’ve seen this year. The Dolphins’ southpaw is PFF’s highest graded passer this season, and he’s been ultra efficient, completing 71% of his passes. Sure, the Bills are a good defense, but this is the best game environment on the slate, and they’re down starting safety Jordan Poyer. And, when you dive into it more, Buffalo’s numbers are a bit inflated by the fact that they’ve faced Zach Wilson, Jimmy G and Sam Howell in Weeks 1-3. Even with that easy QB schedule, they’ve still allowed the 10th-highest adjusted completion rate in the league, and they rank 25th in PFF pass rush grade. This is a “fade the matchup” situation where we want to bet on upside and ceiling. Of course, with this offense so condensed, we know where the ball is going, which makes stacks super easy as well.
