Locked-In Cash Plays

DraftKings Cash Picks / FanDuel Cash Picks

Borg Alvin Kamara‘s role on a PPR site is just too valuable to pass up while his salary remains in this range. His 35.5% TPRR is insane so banking on 5+ receptions and 20+ total opportunities feels safe. The game environment also screams upside with Colts games hitting the over in 5 of 7 and their defense allowing the 3rd most points per game in the NFL.

Betz Breece Hall is my top RB play this week at his price and locked into my cash lineup. Over the last three weeks, his workload and playing time have increased, Dalvin Cook is being completely phased out of the game plan, and Hall comes out of the bye week fully rested and more healthy than he was in September. He gets a plus matchup against a Giants defense that’s struggling against RBs, allowing 5.0 yards per carry to opposing backs.

DraftKings Core Plays

These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.

These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Sam Darnold is showing up in the optimizer as the 49ers starter as our projections currently have him in. However, Betz and I have made the decision to presume Purdy is playing. It is a fluid situation and unique given how rapidly Purdy progressed this week. He still needs to be officially cleared from concussion protocol. With that, give the DFS & dev team, the optimizer, and roster percentage projections time to integrate this as our projections change.

For most of the week, we thought we were going to get a $4,300 Sam Darnold and face a difficult decision to pay up or punt. Brock Purdy said “Nah, dawg” and miraculously seems on track to play. News could change so stay posted. Purdy is a fine play but it now seems prudent to lean into Jalen Hurts or Lamar Jackson as the spend-up options can outdistance themselves from the field. You will feel it in your cash lineups likely punting off TE and potentially spending down at one WR position. Regardless, skinny stacking these QBs in tournaments will be popular but it is chalk we are into. Betz is into cheaply stacking the Texans for tourneys. Names like Tua Tagovailoa and Joe Burrow are showing up quite low in roster percentage despite how chalky their WRs are… Makes you think…
