Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – Chuba Hubbard is the building block of cash lineups this week. Seeing 31 opportunities last week is just the beginning of the conversation. The Panthers are favored for the 1st time since drafting Bryce Young at home against one of the league’s clearest run funnels. Dallas has allowed the most rushing TDs in the NFL and Hubbard seems like a lock for 20+ touches once again. At this price, he’s going to be 60+ % in Double-Ups and most likely on the other side of H2Hs once the cards are flipped over.
Betz – I definitely agree with Borg – Chuba is the first guy for me on this slate. If Bucky Irving is ruled out (DNP, DNP, LP) due to his back injury, Rachaad White is in there for me at just $5,800 on DK. We know he’s not the best runner in the league, but he is one of the best pass catching backs in the league, and the Chargers have given up the eighth-most catches to opposing backs.
Update 9:45 am ET – Bucky Irving is expected to play. In cash games, the locked in play for me (along side Hubbard) becomes Chase Brown ($7,200).
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.
| DraftKings-QB | BORG | BETZ |
| 1 | Justin Herbert | Kyler Murray |
| 2 | Kyler Murray | Justin Herbert |
| 3 | Joe Burrow | Joe Burrow |
| 4 | C.J. Stroud | C.J. Stroud |
| 5 | Tua Tagovailoa | Drake Maye |
We really like Kyler and Big Herbs this week. It’s a virtual coin flip and both QBs essentially add the same amount of rushing floor to the equation. Both are at home in plus matchups in domes so we really can’t blame you with their salaries virtually the same. However, with other games on the slate carrying tons of upside, there are other QBs who could challenge for 25+ DK points on this slate. We know Josh Allen can add 30 to that total (he did it last week), Joe Burrow is on a roll, and the QBs in the MIA/HOU game make for easy cheap stacking partners with their pass-catchers.
