Ryan Tannehill at Houston Texans $7,000
In a game where Ryan Tannehill completed just 11 of his 24 passes for 121 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions, the Titans failed to get much of anything going against the Packers last week. Tannehill salvaged his fantasy week with a long touchdown run but was otherwise a non-factor. He’ll look to rebound in a game that should punch the Titans ticket into the playoffs. Tannehill has benefited from having two solid receiving options in A.J. Brown and Corey Davis, and a dominant run game from Derrick Henry this season, but hasn’t taken as many chances down the field. While he’s averaging 30.27 pass attempts per game (4.6 of which within the red zone), he’s only averaging 2.1 deep attempts per game. Tannehill will need to spread the ball vertically in order to optimize Derrick Henry‘s output and will look to do so this week against a Texans defense that has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season and ranks 29th in DVOA against the pass. The Titans are 7.5-point favorites with an implied point total of 31.75 points.
