Divisional Round DFS Injury Impact
Injuries and players missing time for other reasons are always a big deal in fantasy football but even more so in DFS where one player’s issues can completely alter an entire game and the “next man up” mantra becomes vital due to the salary cap nature of DFS. Thus, it’s important to stay on top of all the injury and suspension news before locking in your DFS lineups.
Here are the most relevant players on the slate in danger of missing time or returning to action on Divisional Round Weekend:
OUT for the Titans: DeMarco Murray
Upgrade: Derrick Henry
DeMarco Murray has missed Week 17 and Wild Card Weekend. In those two games, Derrick Henry has averaged 27.5 opportunities per game, 154 total yards per game, and one TD per game. Those are Le’Veon Bell type numbers right there. Plus, Henry gets to play against a Patriots defense that ranked third worst in run DVOA and that allowed the 13th most rushing yards during the regular season. So Henry has guaranteed volume and a favorable matchup on his side. Those are the exact factors he had on his side last week as well and he obviously came through for us in a big way.
