DFS WR vs. CB Matchups to Monitor in Week 6 (Fantasy Football)
Last week’s article highlighted Calvin Ridley to bounce back after his goose egg, Marquise Brown to finally get in the end zone, and zeroed in on Ceedee Lamb as the Dallas WR to play while recommending you fade Amari Cooper. Not a bad week my friends.
I’ve broken up this year’s WR/CB article into a couple of categories: Alpha WRs, Slot Mavens, Discount Target Specials, and Full-On Fades. The goal is to go from the top-tier stars to move down to bargain WRs with excellent matchups. As always, make sure you use the tools found in the DFS Pass such as the Value Comparison and Buzz Report to discern which WR would be best in cash and tournament lineup builds.
Alpha WRs
Through five weeks, Adam Thielen is the WR1 in 0.5-point leagues with some boom games to his credit. Chalk up this week to another plus matchup against the Falcons. Rookie CB A.J. Terrell has had a slow start on the COVID list but when he’s on the field, he’s a work in progress. He’s giving up a 92(!) percent catch rate and the Falcons as a whole are allowing the most passing yards in the league. Thielen will be arguably the most popular WR on FanDuel at $7,400 approaching near 30 percent.
