For Week 1, this article mentioned Davante Adams as the cash-game lock of the week as well as making sure DeAndre Hopkins was in your lineups on DraftKings. Beyond the studs recommended, John Brown was a pleasant surprise but it hurt talking up Curtis Samuel while Robby Anderson stole the show.

I’ve broken up this year’s WR/CB article into a couple of categories: Alpha WRs, Slot Mavens, Discount Target Specials, and Full-On Fades. The goal is to go from the top-tier stars to move down to bargain WRs with excellent matchups. As always, make sure you use the tools found in the DFS Pass such as the Value Comparison and Buzz Report to discern which WR would be best in cash and tournament lineup builds.

Alpha WRs

In case you needed some type of general push, DeAndre Hopkins‘ Week 1 destroyed any narrative you might’ve believed about “WRs changing teams in the offseason”. He’ll take on Fabian Moreau who picked Carson Wentz last week. In 2019, Moreau was PFF’s 96th ranked CB in coverage. The funneling of the targets Hopkins way allows us to go back to the all-world WR despite his salary increasing to $7,700 on DraftKings. For some reason, Kyler Murray is underpriced as the QB12 at $6,100. That stack is more than affordable especially if you want to run it back with Terry McLaurin on the other side.
