DFS WR vs. CB Matchups to Monitor in Week 13

For Week 13, it’s never a better time to integrate specific WR/CB matchups into your DFS process. While this is only a piece of the puzzle, this tool allows you to better value ceiling-type plays for elite WRs and who can run circles around their opponent.

I’ve broken up this year’s WR/CB article into a couple of categories: Alpha WRs, Slot Mavens, Discount Target Specials, and Full-On Fades. The goal is to go from the top-tier stars to move down to bargain WRs with excellent matchups. As always, make sure you use the tools found in the DFS Pass such as the Value Comparison and Buzz Report to discern which WR would be best in cash and tournament lineup builds.

Alpha WRs

Adam Thielen (DK-$7300, FD-$7800) is returning from the COVID list and most people will want to side the rookie hotness known as Justin Jefferson. But realize Thielen has a 29 percent target share when on the field and the 4th most red-zone targets at the position. The Jaguars are a hot mess on defense allowing the 4th most passing yards and running out some major nobodies after their top-3 corners are all out on IR. Luq Barcoo (who?) is currently matched up against Thielen and, when he moves into the slot, Tre Herndon is someone we’ve picked on all season long and Josiah Scott is a noob on the scene. Use him as leverage off Dalvin Cook in tournaments.
