DFS Vegas Report for Week 17
Each week I’ll preview the most important games from a Vegas total perspective and how to attack each game in DFS. While it’s not one of the kids activities in Las Vegas, I’ll have my wife babysit my daughter while I highlight which players are the most stackable, who are recommended cash and GPP plays, and who look like they should be faded. For this week’s Vegas report, I’ll be discussing games where we know the starters are going to play, as Week 17 is a whole different animal. Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans, TEN -7.5, O/U: 56.5
This is very likely to be the most popular game stack on the entire slate, but that’s for good reason. This total opened up at 55.5 and has already been bet up a full point, suggesting we could see some fireworks from both sides of the ball. The biggest storyline in this matchup is the health of Deshaun Watson because that is the key to this game stack working. I discussed his elbow injury in more detail here, but if we get the news that Watson is in any danger of missing this game, the total is likely to drop quite a bit. As of now, assuming Watson is good to go, this game features two potent offenses and two bottom five defenses – a perfect recipe for DFS goodness.
