DFS Vegas Report for Week 16
Each week I’ll preview the most important games from a Vegas total perspective and how to attack each game in DFS. I’ll highlight which players are the most stackable, who are recommended cash and GPP plays, and who look like they should be faded. Atlanta Falcons @ Kansas City Chiefs, KC -11.5, O/U: 54.0
The Falcons travel to Kansas City in a matchup that features the highest over/under on the main slate. This matchup opened at 53 points and has since been bet up to 54, indicating this is a game we want exposure to in GPPs. This game should easily feature the most combined pass attempts of any game on the slate, and honestly, maybe any game of the season. With Todd Gurley now behind Ito Smith on the depth chart, and Kansas City without Clyde Edwards-Helaire (hip/ankle), it’s not difficult to see a scenario where it’s all-out aerial attack from Matt Ryan and Patrick Mahomes. Both teams have abandoned the run, with the Chiefs ranking 4th in the NFL in pass attempts per game, and the Falcons ranking 5th in the league in the same statistic.
