Game Outlook
Week 16 kicks off on Thursday night when the Saints travel to SoFi Stadium for an island game against the Rams. This game has massive implications for the post-season with both clubs sitting at 7-7 and looking to sneak into the dance. LA is a 4-point home favorite in this game, and if we expect them to win the game, we should expect a heavy dose of Kyren Williams in the run game. Since Week 9, the Rams are only throwing at a 55 (!!)% clip when games are within one score and defensively, the Saints are facing the NFL’s highest neutral rush rate in that same sample. Unless the Saints can flip the script and get out to a lead, we probably see the team manage Stafford’s drop backs in this spot.
