Fantasy Impact: It looks like this game will be fairly breezy so let’s start off with the easy players to avoid. If for some reason you have Oakland’s Giorgio Tavecchio or Philadelphia’s Jake Elliott, find another kicker.
Derek Carr has been unspectacular of late. Amari Cooper looks on track to return, but he’s coming off a high ankle sprain so temper expectations. I just wouldn’t put much stock in any Oakland players especially on the road against a team playing for home-field advantage.
Alshon Jeffery has become a must-start with TDs in seven of his last eight games. If Zach Ertz is starting, you play Zach Ertz. Nick Foles played well last week against the Giants and has a fairly soft matchup on paper this week. Foles led me to a championship in 2013 so I have a soft spot in my heart for him, but banking on him for a championship is a risky proposition. Forget it…Philadelphia for the win and fantasy championship glory!
