Round 1
Mike – Justin Jefferson || Jason – Breece Hall || Andy – Jahmyr Gibbs
With CMC and three stud WRs gone, Mike has faith in a rookie QB and goes with Justin Jefferson. Five of the first six picks are WRs, and Jason is delighted to see his guy Breece Hall still on the board. When it gets to Andy, he grabs Jahmyr Gibbs quickly.
Round 2
Mike – Nico Collins || Jason – De’Von Achane || Andy – Kyren Williams
Andy drafts Kyren Williams with his second pick to go with his PPR RB in Gibbs. Bummed to miss out on Williams, Jason is looking at Saquon Barkley or De’Von Achane when it comes to RBs. The WRs all seem to be in one tier, which makes it more tempting to go RB, and Jason does just that with Achane. Mike is uninspired by the available RBs, and goes with WR Nico Collins, heavy with the money in his pockets.
Round 3
Mike – Deebo Samuel || Jason – DK Metcalf || Andy – Jalen Hurts
Mike is still bullish on Deebo, going with him over Rachaad White, who scares him. He is experimenting in this mock with a three-WR start and zero RB. In the third round, Jason glances at the big QBs if there are no other great options, but looking at how the board is playing out, he goes with DK Metcalf. With the hopes of making a stack, Andy goes QB with Jalen Hurts.
Round 4
Mike – Trey McBride || Jason – Tank Dell || Andy – DeVonta Smith
The stack opportunity falls to Andy, but he has a tough time deciding between DeVonta Smith and Rachaad White, who has dropped. Smith wins out. Jason was hoping for Cooper Kupp or Tank Dell, and both are available – he drafts Dell. Mike stays true to the brand and adds TMcB to his zero RB build.
Round 5
Mike – Alvin Kamara || Jason – Amari Cooper || Andy – James Conner
It is time to look at a RB for Mike, and he is deciding between Alvin Kamara and James Conner, who he views with a similar lens. Wanting to avoid two Arizona Cardinals on his squad for now, Kamara wins out. Jason was expecting several players to fall to him, including Anthony Richardson, but none of them did. His backup plan was Kamara, who Mike so delightfully sniped. Jason picks up Amari Cooper. James Conner falls to Andy.
Round 6
Mike – Najee Harris || Jason – Aaron Jones || Andy – George Pickens
Andy goes with George Pickens, who he thinks has tremendous upside this season. Jason considers the onesie position but isn’t inspired by who is available. Jason still thinks Aaron Jones has the juice and will be an essential part of that offense. Mike is in a “Kyler Conundrum,” considering pulling the trigger on a stack, but he needs a RB. For the sake of the show, Mike picks Najee Harris.
Round 7
Mike – Dak Prescott || Jason – Jaylen Daniels || Andy – Calvin Ridley
Mike loses Kyler, and the lesson is to learn from your mistakes. He begrudgingly drafts Dak Prescott. Jason surprises the guys and picks up Jaylen Daniels, looking for someone who can be a true difference-maker and break fantasy football. Calvin Ridley drops and is an excellent value for Andy in Round 7.
Round 8
Mike – Trey Benson || Jason – Jonathon Brooks || Andy – Zack Moss
Zack Moss could finish in the top 15, and Andy snags him here. The rookies continue to make appearances here, as Jason drafts Jonathan Brooks, completely ok with a potential slow start. Mike joins the party and goes with a second Cardinal, RB Trey Benson. He believes that if and when Conner misses games, Benson could take the job.
Round 9
Mike – Keon Coleman || Jason – Jameson Williams || Andy – T.J. Hockenson
Looking for upside, Mike goes with rookie WR Keon Coleman, and all the guys approve. Jason was going to go with Jake Ferguson since he still needs a TE, but he just missed out on getting him. He looks at WR options with upside, and Jameson Williams joins Jason’s squad. Andy wants to get creative with this mock and drafts T.J. Hockenson. Jason reminds listeners that if you have an IR spot in your league, this is a great option.
Round 10
Mike – Rashod Bateman || Jason – Jared Goff || Andy – Devin Singletary
Andy picks up another unsexy RB in Devin Singletary to add to his team, and Jason’s gamble pays off as Jared Goff is still on the board for him in Round 10. Mike is again shooting for upside and drafts Rashod Bateman, fresh off a groundswell of support for the WR.
Round 11
Mike – Rico Dowdle || Jason – Pat Freiermuth || Andy – Rashid Shaheed
Looking at the Dallas backfield, Mike drafts Rico Dowdle, who he thinks will become the main man there. Jason punted TE, and now, with his final pick, he has to fill the position. He does so with Pat Freiermuth. With Andy’s final pick, he is deciding between Xavier Legette in Carolina or Derek Carr’s bestie, Rashid Shaheed. Shaheed’s upside and opportunity win out.
