NFL Week 8 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)
We got a reminder of the impacts of bad weather in Week 7. The Browns and Dolphins played in pretty ugly conditions with rain and gusty winds. Now, could other teams overcome those conditions? Potentially, but it’s a good game to reference to know what kind of havoc weather can bring upon games. Now that we had the bad weather last week, there’s no way we’ll get it 2 weeks in a row, right? Well, dear reader, see below for this week’s weather outlook!
Buckle up, it’s Week 8 time, baby!
Sunday Early Afternoon Games
New York Jets @ Cincinnati Bengals
LOW impact. There is a small chance of rain during the game, sitting at 20% currently, but I’m not expecting anything too significant to impact the game. Expect mostly cloudy skies, winds in the single digits, and temperatures hovering in the mid-50s. No real impacts here, start all your usual guys.
Cleveland Browns @ New England Patriots
LOW impact. It’s shaping up to be a very pleasant Sunday for this game. Partly cloudy skies, winds in the low single digits, and temperatures in the low-50s. Weather will not be a factor in this game.
New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles
LOW impact. Another beautiful game is on tap for Sunday in Philadelphia. Partly sunny skies, high temperatures in the upper-50s, and a light wind. Absolutely no issues here, start your studs.
Buffalo Bills @ Carolina Panthers
LOW impact. Partly cloudy skies, no rain, light winds, and temperatures in the upper-60s. Can you ask for more? Probably, but that’s being greedy. Congratulations to the Panthers, they win the coveted GOOD WEATHER GAME OF THE WEEK.
Chicago Bears @ Baltimore Ravens
LOW impact. Wrapping up the early afternoon slate of games with another, you guessed it, awesome weather game. Partly cloudy, light winds, and temperatures in the upper-50s. Good to go with all your players here.
Sunday Late Afternoon Games
Dallas Cowboys @ Denver Broncos
LOW impact. Mostly good weather is expected throughout the game. There will be some slightly increased winds, with sustained speeds in the high single digits, with the occasional gust up to high teens. While it’s something to note, I don’t think you should make any drastic changes to your lineup based on that. Aside from the winds, temperatures will be in the low-70s with mostly clear skies.
Sunday Night Game
Green Bay Packers @ Pittsburgh Steelers
LOW impact. Wrapping up Sunday with another nice weather game. Mostly clear skies, light winds, and temperatures in the upper-40s(!! brr) during the game. No issues here, the Aaron Rodgers revenge game won’t have to deal with the weather.
Monday Night Game
Washington Commanders @ Kansas City Chiefs
LOW impact. There’s a 30% chance of rain throughout much of the game, from what I am seeing, though it won’t be anything too heavy. The good news is that the winds will be light, so it’ll just potentially be a rain shower that the players have to deal with, which shouldn’t be too bad. Temperatures will be in the low-50s.
Best of luck to your team in the week ahead!
