Another weekend full of beautiful football weather! Well, mostly…we do have a few games this week to keep an eye out on as you’ll see down below.

Check out the forecasts and bounce that off of Matt Disorbo’s Whether Weather Really Matters article to see how your game may be impacted by weather.

Remember – games in domes are NOT listed!

Early Morning Game (London Game!)

Baltimore Ravens @ Tennesse Titans

LOW impact. Another week in London and another cooperative weather day. Expect temperatures during game time to be in the lower-50s with winds around 7-9 mph. Start your players with confidence!

Early Afternoon Games

Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears

MEDIUM impact. It’ll be a moist day in Chicago today and into tomorrow. The majority of the rain will have moved away before kickoff but there will likely be a few rain showers during the game. There will also be winds to contend with as the sustained winds in the area are expected to be in the upper teens with gusts up to the high-20s. Temperatures will also be lower with expected highs in the 50s, which combined with all the moisture in the area will create humid conditions.

Seattle Seahawks @ Cincinnati Bengals

LOW impactIt will be a nice, cool fall day for football in Cincinnati. Winds will be out of the northwest at 6-8mph with a high temp in the high-50s. No significant weather impacts are expected.

San Francisco 49ers @ Cleveland Browns

MEDIUM impactIt’s shaping up to be a little bit of a sloppy game in Cleveland on Sunday. Between rain received on Saturday and expected rain to come on Sunday, I’m expecting some degraded conditions on the field. Winds will be in the high single digits with high temps in the mid-50s.

Carolina Panthers @ Miami Dolphins

LOW impact. There is a small chance of rain showers (20-30%) throughout the Miami area during game time. If one of those passes over the stadium there will be some intermittent impacts, but I don’t think it’ll be anything substantive. Winds will be out of the northwest in the high single digits. The high temp will be in the high-80s, reaching 90 degrees towards the second half.

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars

LOW impact. There will be overall low impacts to this game, just keep an eye on the winds. They’ll start off in the low-teens but will be gradually increasing reaching the mid to upper-teens by the second half. Overall,  I don’t think it’ll have a massive impact on the game, but something to be aware of. No significant rain is expected with a max temperature in the mid-70s.

Late Afternoon Game

Detroit Lions @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

LOW impact. Winds will be the biggest issue during the game with wind speeds in the mid-teens, gusting up to the high-teens/low-20s. However there won’t be any rain and the high temp is only expected to reach in the low-80s, so overall I’m expecting low impacts throughout the game.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Jets

LOW impact. No rain is expected during the game, temperatures in the upper-50s, and winds in the mid-teens should make for an overall excellent afternoon for football.

Sunday Night Game

New York Giants @ Buffalo Bills

MEDIUM impactI’m expecting light rain and drizzle to be on and off again throughout the game. It’s not shaping up to be heavy rain, just bouts of persistent annoying light rain. Winds will be out of the north in the single digits and temps at game time around the low-50s.

Remember that weather, just like football, is a dynamic thing and can change!  Good luck!
