NFL Week 4 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)
Week 3 ended with no big weather impacts thankfully. We had some minor rain sprinkled throughout some games but really nothing major to impact those sweet fantasy points. Will this weekend be the same? Read below along with Matt DiSorbo’s article “Whether Weather Really Matters” to find out how best to set up your lineup this week!
While it’s not looking to cause massive fantasy football impact, Hurricane Helene is causing a lot of destruction and issues down in the Southeast. If you’re in the impacted area, please stay safe.
Early Afternoon Games
Los Angeles Rams @ Chicago Bears
LOW impact. There will be a minor chance for some rain showers, but not expecting too much of an impact there. Winds will be the biggest issue in the game with sustained winds in the lower teens with gusts reaching up to the low-20s. Expect those winds to impact the kicking game more than anything else. High temps in the lower-70s.
Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers
LOW impact. It’ll be a great day for football in Green Bay. Sunny skies, winds in the single digits, and temps at game time in the mid-70s.
Denver Broncos @ New York Jets
LOW impact. We’ll have a 20% chance of rain throughout the game but looking at the expected rain amount, it won’t be enough to impact much of anything. Winds in the single digits and temps in the low-70s.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
LOW impact. There will be rain showers in and around the Tampa area throughout the game, expect a 60% chance of rain with some isolated thunderstorms in the second half. If it does rain over the stadium, expect it to be fairly short-lived. I’m not expecting it to have much of an impact on the players. Winds will be in low teens with high temps in the low-90s.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Carolina Panthers
LOW impact. It is shaping up to be a very nice day in Charlotte. Winds in the single digits and high temps in the low-80s. Perfect conditions for the Andy Dalton revenge game.
Late Afternoon Games
New England Patriots @ San Francisco 49ers
LOW impact. Sunny with highs in the mid-70s, winds will be in the low teens. Start any and all players with full confidence (in the weather).
Sunday Night Game
Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens
MEDIUM impact. Expecting rain around Baltimore during game time, currently sitting at a 60% chance of rain. Winds will also be in the low teens gusting to the high teens. Biggest impact will be on kickers and on pass catchers. All that said, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen are not likely to be impacted by the weather so don’t bench them over some rain.
Monday Night Game
Tennessee Titans @ Miami Dolphins
LOW impact. There is a minor chance of rain and thunderstorms during the game, but I’m not worried about it. Winds will be in the single digits and temps will be in the low-80s.
Weather is a dynamic thing and can change! Keep an eye on your local weather source leading up to kickoff to see if anything changes significantly. Good luck!
