That was some weather we had last week. We had several games with some small weather issues, but it was capped off by the snow game in the 49ers vs. Bills game. What did we learn from it? Well, apparently James Cook and Josh Allen are immune to all weather conditions. Also, even if there is bad weather, there is still good fantasy potential to be had!

As we move into the last week of the regular season, it’s time to look to see what Mother Nature has in store for us this weekend!

Early Afternoon Games

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans

MEDIUM impact.  No issues at kickoff but there will be an increasing chance of rain starting just before halftime. I’m not expecting a ton of rain, just enough to be annoying if it does pass over the stadium. Rain chances will continue to increase as the game goes on. Winds will stay fairly light, in the single digits. Temps will be in the upper-50s throughout the game.

New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins

LOW impact.  It will be an absolutely beautiful day in Miami on Sunday, a snowbird’s delight if you will. Sunny skies, temps in the mid/upper-70s, and light winds.

New Orleans Saints @ New York Giants

MEDIUM impact. Expect a cool and windy game on Sunday for the Saints and Giants. Sustained wind speeds will be in the low teens with gusts up to 20-25 mph. Temps will be in the high-40s to low-50s. The biggest impact will be on the kicking game, with some minor impacts on the passing game (although if you’re running Drew Lock out there you probably aren’t concerned with wind). Look to flex your kicker to another option that’s available.

Carolina Panthers @ Philadelphia Eagles

LOW impact. A cool day up in Philly, with light winds and no rain. Sounds good to me! Temps will be in the low-50s, winds in the single digits, and mostly cloudy skies turning morning sunny throughout the game. Start your usual suspects.

Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers

MEDIUM impact. What a difference it makes to be on the other side of a state. While Philly is good, Pittsburgh is going to be dealing with some gusty winds that will be causing some issues with kickers and deep passes. Sustained winds will be in the low teens with gusts to the mid-20s. I wouldn’t bench Chris Boswell unless you have someone comparable that could match his output. Just temper your expectations for how many he can hit over 50+ yards.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

LOW impact. Outdoor games in Florida are where you want to be in December. High temperatures in the mid-70s (!) with light winds and sunny skies. Start all your studs.

Afternoon Games

Chicago Bears @ San Francisco 49ers

LOW impact. An overall nice afternoon for the game. High temps in the upper-60s with light winds and no rain expected.

Sunday Night Game

Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs

LOW impact. It’s going to be a cold night in KC with temps during game time dropping to the low-40s, but winds will be in the low single digits and there won’t be any rain or snow. A lot less exciting than last week’s Sunday night game.

Weather is a dynamic thing and can change! Keep an eye on your local weather source leading up to kickoff to see if anything changes significantly.  Good luck!
