Another week into November without any games massively impacted by the weather, I’ll take it! Out of the remaining games this week, we only have five that are outside. That being said, out of those five, there are going to be some weather issues in the early afternoon games, so take a read below and see how best to manage your team for the push into the playoffs.

Don’t forget Matt DiSorbo’s Whether Weather Really Matters article to see how the weather impacts players.

Remember – games in domes are NOT listed!

Early Afternoon Games

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals

MEDIUM impact. There will be some light rain starting off around kickoff, with rain getting gradually heavier as the game progresses. I’m not expecting a downpour by any means, but just more of an annoying consistent drizzle. I’d look for other WR and QB options if available, RBs should be good to go. Aside from the rain, no other real impacts. Winds will be in the single digits and temperatures will be in the mid to upper-40s.

Carolina Panthers @ Tennessee Titans

MEDIUM impact. There will be some rain before the game in Nashville, but it looks like the majority of it will be gone before kickoff. Maybe a few lingering showers, but nothing too impactful. Winds will follow a similar pattern, with sustained winds in the low teens at kickoff then gradually tapering down throughout the game to single digits. I don’t see a need to flex off of any WRs or RBs this game but I’d look for some other kicker options.  Expect high temperatures to be in the mid-50s for the game.

New England Patriots @ New York Giants

LOW impact. There’s a small chance of rain (less than 20%) near the end of the game, so keep that in mind but I really don’t think it’ll cause much of an impact. Winds will be in the high single digits with high temperatures in the upper-40s. Start all players with confidence (confidence in decent weather, not the offenses of these teams).

Afternoon Games

Cleveland Browns @ Denver Broncos

LOW impact. It’s shaping up to be a cold, clear day in Denver. It will be snowing on Saturday, but I’m sure the field will be cleared by game time. Temps will be in the high-30s/low-40s with winds in the single digits. Should be an overall good weather game, start everyone you normally would.

Buffalo Bills @ Philadelphia Eagles

LOW impact. There’s a chance of rain during the second half, but right now it’s looking pretty small so I’m not going to bump up any impacts. Winds will be calm and the temperature will be in the low-50s. Start all the usual studs, just keep an eye on the pregame to double-check for any potential rain and be ready to flex.

Remember that weather, just like football, is a dynamic thing and can change!  Good luck!
