NFL Week 10 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)
As far as November weather goes, last week gets an A+ from me. Largely little to no impacts throughout the league which led to some awesome games and some high-scoring players (which hopefully played for you, but if not I understand your pain). Some more relatively good weather is on the way this weekend. There are a few games with a higher rain chance than last week though, so make sure to read below and figure out if the weather is going to mess up your players!
Don’t forget Matt Disorbo’s Whether Weather Really Matters article to see how the weather actually impacts players.
Remember – games in domes are NOT listed!
Early Afternoon Games
Houston Texans @ Cincinnati Bengals
LOW impact. It will be a great day in Ohio for this game. Largely sunny with a high temperature in the upper-50s and winds in the single digits. Start all your usual players.
Green Bay Packers @ Pittsburgh Steelers
LOW impact. Another great-looking game for Sunday. Winds in the low single digits, no rain, and temperatures in the low-50s. Start everyone you normally would.
Tennessee Titans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
LOW impact. A warm day down in Tampa with a high in the mid-80s, but there’s no real significant chance of rain. Winds will stay in the high single digits throughout the game.
San Francisco 49ers @ Jacksonville Jaguars
LOW impact. Keep an eye on the winds during this game as they are expected to be in the high single digits with an occasional gust up to the teens. I’m not expecting any impacts to the passing game, but if you have another option at kicker you may want to consider it. No rain throughout the game with a high temp in the low-70s.
Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens
LOW impact. As nice as you can hope for in Baltimore during the month of November. Light winds in the single digits with no rain and a high temperature in the low-50s. Great day for football in Baltimore, start everyone you normally would.
Afternoon Games
Washington Commanders @ Seattle Seahawks
MEDIUM impact. It’s shaping up to be a wet one in Seattle with a 50% chance of rain, increasing throughout the day. High temps in the mid-50s with winds in the high single digits. I don’t think the rain will be significant enough to bench any WRs in this game but keep an eye out before kickoff to see how hard it’s actually raining and be ready to flex.
Monday Night Game
Denver Broncos @ Buffalo Bills
MEDIUM impact. Winds are going to have an impact on this game. There will be sustained winds in the low-teens with gusts reaching up to the mid-20s. If you have another option at kicker I would look into swapping out your starters for someone playing inside a dome. Pass catchers are also going to have some issues but don’t bench your studs unless you have an equal alternative.
Remember that weather, just like football, is a dynamic thing and can change! Good luck!
