The week-to-week grind is setting in for fantasy managers, but getting the right pieces that jump in and out of your lineup each week can make all the difference! Now that we have a full five weeks of information on most teams, finding trends on who to target at each position is getting more informed!

Here are some streaming options to consider ahead of Week 6!

Quarterbacks

Jordan Love

Just when we thought the Packers were dead in the water, they go full Undertaker and pop up off the mat with a huge win against the Bears in Week 5. A huge part of Green Bay’s bounceback last week was Jordan Love’s first top-5 QB finish of the season behind 367 passing yards and a pair of passing TDs. Week 5 marked the first time this season that Love has eclipsed 20+ fantasy points, but another juicy matchup against the Cowboys in Week 6 should give fantasy managers the confidence to get Love into their starting lineups. Dallas’ defense has allowed the sixth-most passing TDs in the league this season, and with Love still available in 37% of leagues, he could be an easy add and play.

C.J. Stroud

While it hasn’t been the start to their win-loss record that the Texans hoped for, the play for fantasy purposes has been solid from QB CJ Stroud to start the year. Stroud is the QB9 on the season through his first five games, finishing as a top-12 QB in three of his last four. The Texans QB is still rostered in nearly half of leagues and has a sneakily strong matchup against the Jags next week. Jacksonville’s defense has allowed the second-most passing yards in the league, though they have given up just four passing TDs on the season. Stroud is also getting a shiny new weapon in Marvin Harrison Jr., so the Texans may be looking to show off their investment, and Stroud fantasy managers could be the beneficiary.

Jameis Winston

Fantasy managers should be going back to the Jameis Winston well again for Week 6. While I hate to talk about another QB that was mentioned as a streamer last week, Winston fits the bill for what we are looking for – only 11% rostered and has a great matchup that is favorable for fantasy QBs. Over the last two weeks, Winston has been a top-10 QB in each game and combined for six TD passes. Getting a matchup against the Cowboys in Week 6 is another prime opportunity for Jameis to deliver fantasy magic for fantasy managers in need of a streamer.

Tight Ends

Dallas Goedert

Dallas Goedert

TE - PHI

vs CAR

  • - Jason

While the return to action wasn’t the TE2 performance we saw to start the season for Dallas Goedert, fantasy managers shouldn’t write off the Eagles TE heading into Week 6. Goedert led Philadelphia’s offense in both targets and receptions against the Jaguars and will clearly be a consistent option that Jalen Hurts will look to while this offense tries to find its footing again. A matchup against the Panthers is the bigger reason for considering putting Goedert into lineups this week, though. Over their last two games, the Panthers have allowed a combined 40.3 fantasy points to opposing TEs. Goedert is still available in about a third of leagues, so he could be an add-and-play option for this week.

Dalton Kincaid

After a red-hot start to the season, Dalton Kincaid has struggled to help fantasy rosters over the last three weeks, combining for 7.2 fantasy points during that stretch. While the targets have definitely dropped for Kincaid, he could have a strong chance to rebound this week against the Raiders. Las Vegas’ defense has been pretty good with the exception of their Week 5 loss to the Patriots, but the Raiders defense has allowed 20+ fantasy points to opposing teams’ TEs in two of their last three games. With Kincaid a potential drop candidate, fantasy managers should keep an eye out for him as an easy replacement before the Bills’ Bye Week.

Pat Freiermuth

Pat Freiermuth

TE - PIT

  • - Jason

One of the best surprises to start the 2026 fantasy season has been in the Steelers offense, and Pat Freiermuth is one of the biggest beneficiaries. Through five weeks, The Muth is the TE8 on the season with two top-6 TE finishes and a total of four receiving TDs, three of which have come in the last two games. Freiermuth saw a 23% target share in the Pittsburgh offense Sunday against the Colts and has been a consistent red zone target for Aaron Rodgers, where he’s caught three of his four TDs. The Muth is available in over 80% of leagues and has a decent matchup against the Bucs in Week 6, so with a heavy week of byes ahead, he could have another top-8 TE week incoming.

Defenses

vs NYJ
  • - Consensus
  • - Andy
  • - Mike
  • - Jason

While it has been difficult to figure out exactly how good this Patriots team is to start the season, the last two weeks feel like a much better indication of what fantasy managers can expect for the remainder of the year. New England’s Week 5 stomping of the Raiders not only should instill confidence in fantasy managers, but this defense put the brakes on what had been one of the more consistent offenses in the league to start the season and recorded three sacks in the process. A matchup against the Jets in Week 6 could provide decent fantasy value for fantasy managers in need. New York’s offense has allowed the fourth-most sacks on the year, which should provide a decent baseline for this fantasy defense.

It is pretty difficult to ignore what the 49ers defense did Sunday against the defending Super Bowl champions. While they did allow 29 points to be scored, San Francisco’s defense still finished as the third-best fantasy defense of the week behind five sacks, two forced fumbles, two INTs, and a defensive TD. This marks the second time this season that the 49ers have recorded 4+ sacks in a game, which is basically fantasy gold. The San Francisco defense is widely available – only rostered in 30% of leagues currently – and a decent matchup against the Commanders could prove to be another strong week for fantasy managers needing a spot start.

While the Rams defense should be rostered in most fantasy leagues already, we are looking ahead to instill some confidence after they lost fantasy managers’ points last week to the Bills. On the slate for LA’s defense over the next few weeks are the Cardinals, Raiders, and Chargers – two of those three matchups this unit could have week-winning type performances in. It’s hard to imagine the Rams being available, but fantasy managers who still have them should be playing them with confidence over the next month.

Boom Boom Kicker

Spencer Shrader

My weekly call to have your fantasy league’s commissioner kicked out of office if they still force you to play this position. If I am forced to have a kicker in my lineup, though, getting the Colts’ Spencer Shrader is a great choice. Shrader is one of two kickers in the league who haven’t missed a FG attempt this season, and leads the league in FG makes over 50 yards with six. Indianapolis’ kicker is available in just under 25% of leagues, so getting him might not be an option, but a matchup against the terrible Titans in Week 6 could turn into a big day for Shrader.
