Drew Stevens, K (WAS)

Solid in win

Stevens made four of his five field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try during Sunday's 27-10 win versus the Eagles.

Stevens had just one blemish in an otherwise great game in Week 8, as he missed a 55-yard attempt after the Commanders' first drive of the game. Regardless, he set a new career high in field goals made in a game. Washington's offense will try to keep up the momentum against a tougher defense in Week 9 versus the Rams.

May miss months

McNichols is getting additional opinions on the foot injury that he suffered Sunday against the Eagles, but there's an expectation that he'll miss multiple months, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Mid-foot injury is concerning

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Monday that McNichols has a "mid-foot" injury and is concerned that the running back is dealing with something "serious," Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
