Montez Sweat, DL (CHI)

Handed two-game ban

The NFL announced Tuesday that Sweat has been suspended two games without pay for violating the league's performance-enhancing substances policy, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Barring a successful appeal, Sweat will sit out games Sunday in Atlanta and in Week 7 versus the Patriots. The 30-year-old edge rusher has notched a pair of sacks among his seven tackles through the Bears' first five games of the season.
