Omar Cooper Jr., WR (NYJ)

Sidelined in practice as expected

Cooper (ankle) didn't practice Thursday after also missing Wednesdays practice.

Cooper's inability to practice is no surprise considering he's expected to miss multiple weeks due to an ankle sprain he sustained in the Jets' Week 1 win over the Titans. Prior to getting hurt in the first quarter of his NFL debut, the rookie first-round pick had a 30-yard catch and run. Expect Cooper to be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers when the Jets release game statuses Friday.
