Pittman took a step in the wrong direction Thursday after being listed as a limited participant Wednesday. The starting wide receiver's participation level during Friday's practice and subsequent injury status on Friday's injury report will bear monitoring as the Steelers prepare for Sunday's matchup with the Patriots.
