Your Guide to the Week 2 Primetime Slate
Cash Game Locks
Jordan Howard vs. Seattle
Seattle is so banged up at linebacker right now they just signed Mychal Kendricks off the street, who recently plead guilty to insider trading and is facing a potentially lengthy prison sentence. Howard saw a healthy 20 opportunities last week including five targets. And guess what? He caught all five targets! Howard’s usage was extremely promising in game 1 and he is set up perfectly to take advantage of a banged up defense at home.
Ezekiel Elliott vs. New York Giants
Zeke is the other home running back on this slate and like Howard, is in a good spot thanks to Olivier Vernon being ruled out yet again for the Giants. Zeke’s workload is locked in as he averaged 28 opportunities per game last season, which ranked second in the league behind only Le’Veon Bell. And he gets a Giants’ defense that ranked 27th in rushing yards allowed and 26th in Run DVOA in 2017.
