Week 17 DFS Injury Impact
Injuries and players missing time for other reasons are always a big deal in fantasy football but even more so in DFS where one player’s issues can completely alter an entire game and the next man up mantra becomes vital due to the salary cap nature of DFS. Thus, it’s important to stay on top of all the injury and suspension news before locking in your DFS lineups.

Here are the most relevant players on the main slate in danger of missing time or returning to action in Week 17:
Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills – 1:00pm ET
OUT for the Dolphins: Frank Gore
Upgrade: Kalen Ballage and Kenyan Drake
Here were the snap percentages: Kenyan Drake 85% and Kalen Ballage 30% and total opportunities: Kenyan Drake 11 and Kalen Ballage 8 last week with Frank Gore on the sideline. Not much to see here as this timeshare isn’t worth investing in.
Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 1:00pm ET
Doubtful for the Buccaneers: DeSean Jackson
Upgrade: Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Adam Humphries
During Weeks 13-15 with DeSean Jackson on the sideline, here were the snap percentages: Mike Evans 88% 87% and 90%, Chris Godwin 80% 86% and 82%, and Adam Humphries 63%, 81%, and 58%. Total targets: Mike Evans 21, Chris Godwin 19, and Adam Humphries 23. It looks like DJax will miss this week as well. Upgrade all three players and pick your favorite. Personally, I’m a Chris Godwin guy and he has a nice matchup against a Falcons defense that ranks 25th in passing yards allowed per game and 29th in Pass DVOA.
