Week 15 GPP Stacks
Stacks are correlation plays that are ideal in tournaments because they help your lineup differentiate from the crowd while simultaneously putting more upside in your lineup’s range of outcomes. Unique stacks should always be in consideration and here are some of my favorites this week:
Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Chris Hogan
DraftKings: $20,400 – 40.8% of total salary
FanDuel: $24,400 – 40.7% of total salary
In nine career games against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tom Brady has thrown for 2,826 yards and has 24 TD passes compared to only three interceptions. That averages out to 314 passing yards, 2.67 TD passes, and only 0.33 interceptions per game. That is…#PrettyGood. And for tournaments, this is the perfect time for Brady to have this juicy matchup as he just laid an egg last week on the road against a division rival. You can roster him at likely a lower ownership percentage in a game with a current Over/Under of 54 points against a Steelers defense that has allowed the most passing yards per game (336.4) in the entire league over the past five weeks. And if you really want to beef this contrarian stack up. Roster Gronk and Chris Hogan. Gronk missed last week due to suspension. Yet, he still ranks second at the TE position in DraftKings points so far this season and he’s only played in 11 games. And Chris Hogan only caught one pass for one yard last week in his return from a long absence due to injury. That performance all but guaranteed Hogan is going to be low owned this week. But, he still did see five targets in the contest. He’ll do much more with his opportunities in this favorable fantasy game.
