Wild Card Weekend Vegas Report
Atlanta Falcons @ Los Angeles Rams – 6.5 (48.5)
Experience versus youth. The Rams are the NFL’s youngest team, with the youngest coach, while the Falcons are trying to get back to the Super Bowl, and erase what was a brutal loss against the Patriots. They’ll have a much different path this season as the six seed as Matt Ryan will be looking for his first road playoff win. It won’t be easy against a Rams squad that finished the season with the league’s best offense, something Atlanta had last season. Sean McVay has done a fantastic job with Jared Goff as he was 0-7 a year ago, with only five touchdowns and seven interceptions. He won 11 of his 15 starts this season with a 28:7 – TD:INT ratio. There’s no shortage of firepower in this game as Todd Gurley led the league with 2,093 yards from scrimmage with 19 touchdowns. Julio Jones only found the end zone three times, but racked up 1,444 receiving yards. This game marks the first home playoff game for the Rams at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum since 1978.
