NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Picks Week 5 (Fantasy Football)
Building winning GPP lineups, by definition, is tough. There are, however, some key things to look for when filling out your roster. First and foremost is ceiling, we want the players with the potential to score the most points. Next is leverage, we want the players that fall through the cracks. Finally, we have to build a lineup that tells a winning story through game script and stacking.

A final note before diving into the picks. Don’t ignore my Cash Picks article. It pairs perfectly with my GPP picks article, as it’s typically a good idea to mix in some value plays, especially if they fit the GPP-winning story you write.
Quarterbacks
I won’t talk anybody out of Patrick Mahomes or Jalen Hurts stacks in GPPs. They both have great game environments and sky-high ceilings, but they also project as the two most popular QBs in the DFS Optimizer as of this writing. Tua Tagovailoa vs. NYG – $8,000
The Dolphins boast the highest team-implied total (29.8) and point spread (-11) this week. While Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane can bust long runs, if Miami points up 30 points, they aren’t doing it with three yards and a cloud of dust. We know Tua can break the slate with his arsenal of offensive weapons, and that kind of performance is on the table this week.
