NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Picks: Week 3 (Fantasy Football)
Each week I’ll highlight my favorite GPP picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools. On the Fantasy Footballers DFS Podcast, Betz and myself will dive into a couple of these but this article is intended for DFS Pass subscribers to get the full lay of the land.
Quarterbacks
Selecting QBs for GPPs is about finding stacking partners that also give you leverage on the field. Remember QB roster percentages are relatively flat. Nevertheless, refer to the FanDuel cash game picks and then add these guys in the mix of players who are contrarian. I love Josh Allen. But I’ll highlight some other names here.
Patrick Mahomes @ IND- $8700
I’ve tried to keep my excitement quiet this week for Mahomes. The KC/IND game is flying under the radar this week because so many people are terrified of what Matt Ryan has done this year. Whenever we get Mahomes and his stacking partners at a lower roster percentage, it’s a chance to attack in tourneys. They are always a threat to be the highest-scoring team on any slate. In six career dome games, Mahomes has averaged 339 and 2.5 passing TDs. Kansas City is 2nd in neutral pass rate and 2nd in Yards per Play: efficiency and excellence.
