NFL DFS FanDuel Cash Picks: Week 2 (Fantasy Football)
Each week I’ll highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools. For more on cash game strategy and the mechanics of it, make sure you listen to our DFS Cash Overview episode. On the Fantasy Footballers DFS Podcast, Betz and myself will dive into a couple of these but this article is intended for DFS Pass subscribers to get the full lay of the land.
Quarterbacks
Note: Remember on FD the pricing for QBs is bunched together so seemingly “expensive” players. I personally like paying up for QBs on this site and which prizes rushing QBs even more than on DK.
Lamar Jackson vs. MIA- $8,200
Week 1 wasn’t quite the ceiling we’re used to for Lamar. 217 passing yards and three passing TDs is nice but it’s the way the Ravens passed in neutral scripts that has me overjoyed moving forward. While they get their RB room fixed and J.K. Dobbins heals up, it seems they will continue to throw even when they’re ahead. They had a 63 percent neutral pass rate (2nd highest) despite dominating from start to finish against the Jets. The rushing yards are on the way in what should be one of the better game on the early slate of games Sunday. I’m stacking Lamar with Mark Andrews in cash currently.
