Below are my top captain choices, but this does not necessarily mean you can’t get off the board with another captain option. In showdown slates, we’re trying to find ceiling at the captain position, and we should be thoughtful about how our captain affects the rest of our lineup. For example, if playing Cam Akers at captain, it’s unlikely the Rams passing attack gets there, and it’s extremely unlikely Sony Michel also lands in the optimal lineup. Personally, I like attacking the WR position in captain on this slate given the ceiling we’ve seen from the pass catchers mentioned below.
