NFL DFS DraftKings Picks: Wild Card Weekend (Fantasy Football)
Playoffs! The Wild Card Weekend should be…dare I say super? Wow, that dad joke was terrible. Let’s hope the DraftKings cash and GPP picks are better. For this article, I’ll be focusing on my favorite plays on the Saturday 2-game slate and the Sunday 3-game slate. Of course, you can use this analysis as well as the DFS Podcast to help if you’re playing the full weekend 6-game slate, but given that DK decided to split the slate into two separate days, that’s where most of the action is this weekend.

Saturday Slate

Patrick Mahomes $7,100 vs. MIA
If playing cash games on the Saturday slate, I prefer to save the money and drop down to Flacco, but for tournaments, I think it’s somewhat likely (especially in smaller field contests) that Flacco is much more popular than Mahomes. Sure, the weather in KC isn’t ideal, but that’s already factored into the line, and the Chiefs have a slightly higher team total than the Browns. If they can hit that, and the TDs go through the air, Mahomes can obviously finish as the slate’s QB1. It certainly doesn’t hurt that Mahomes is coming off a career high in rushing attempts and yards.
