NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 8 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterback
Lamar Jackson $8,100 @ ARI
On the year, Arizona ranks 31st in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs, and Baltimore’s 27-point team implied total is the third-highest on the Week 8 main slate. We’ve seen Lamar play extremely well this season, and he’s coming off his best game of the year a week ago against a stout Lions defense. Now, he catches a plus spot against a Cardinals team that’s given up the NFL’s third-highest yards per pass attempt to opposing passers. Arizona is also dead last in pressure rate, and the Ravens O-line health is trending in the right direction. If the Ravens beat their team total and hang 30 on the Cards, Lamar is going to be a big reason why.
