NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 7 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have a solid range of outcomes at reduced roster percentage, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our lineup as well. When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our all new Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued relative to the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterback
Matthew Stafford $7,100
In the #RevengeGame of all #RevengeGames, Stafford and the Rams are set to torch the Lions at home. Their 32.8 implied team total is the highest on the slate, and Stafford gets a matchup against the Lions “defense” that’s allowing league highs in yards per pass attempt (9.8) and QB rating. Stafford isn’t exactly flying under the radar this week, but I expect Darrell Henderson to be one of the most popular plays on the entire slate. Playing Stafford stacks is a way to create leverage on DHendo if the TDs go through the air. Detroit has allowed the third most 20+ yard completions on the season. Look for Stafford to go bonkers in this one.
Derek Carr $6,000
I absolutely love Derek Carr this week at home against the Eagles. In their first game without Jon Gruden last week, we saw the Raiders up their neutral situation pass rate jump from 62% to 70% and their play action rate jump from 10% to 28%. Often pegged as check down QB, Derek Carr has bucked the trend this year. He’s 2nd in total passing yards and is the only QB in the leaguge with four 300-yard passing games so far this year, helpful on DraftKings where you get a bonus for hitting the 300-yard mark. Carr is also on pace for a career high in yards per attempt and leads the NFL in percentage of pass attempts traveling 20+ yards down the field. His upside in this matchup is massive.
