NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 7 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 7 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterback
Lamar Jackson $7,600 vs. DET
Capable of breaking the slate any time he steps on the field, I’m usually interested in Jackson in GPPs if the field isn’t looking his way. As of Friday, we’re projecting somewhere around 7%, well behind guys like Mahomes and Geno. The matchup isn’t easy by any means as I’ve highlighted the Lions DST below, but Lamar is on pace for a career-best 70% completion rate, yet his 2.9% TD rate screams regression considering his career average from 2018 to 2022 is 6.1%. Given how difficult it is to run against Detroit, I like betting on Lamar stacks for tournaments this week, and the nice thing about stacking him is that his targets have been relatively condensed to two main options: Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews. Jackson also continues to pad the stat line with his legs, averaging 54.5 rushing yards per game.
