NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 6 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterback
Justin Fields $7,300 vs. MIN
Fields has exploded for 308.5 passing yards per game and eight total passing TDs over his last two weeks, and while we probably can’t expect that type of performance to continue, I like betting on Fields to continue to put up profitable numbers for DFSin a plus matchup. The Bears aren’t expected to have Khalil Herbert (ankle), Roschon Johnson (concussion) or Travis Homer (hamstring), which means D’Onta Foreman is likely to lead the backfield. The problem with that is that the Bears clearly don’t think much of Foreman has he’s been inactive in recent weeks, and the Vikings have been good against the run. They rank 10th in EPA per rush and fifth in ESPN’s Run Stop Win Rate. Against the pass, they rank 25th in EPA per drop back. If the Bears are this thin at RB in a difficult matchup, logic would suggest they once again lean on Fields’ right arm, or perhaps even better, dial up more QB runs.
