NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 5 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterback
Kirk Cousins $6,900 vs. KC
The Vikings only got off 44 offensive plays in Week 4’s slog of a game against the Panthers, but in Weeks 1-3, the Vikings were among the league leaders in plays and pass rate. Now, they get a home matchup against Mahomes, and we know opponents don’t have a choice but to throw against the Chiefs. Opponents facing the Chiefs are throwing at a 61% rate (9th highest), and the Vikings rank third in the NFL in pass rate over expectation (PROE). If the Chiefs have success in this matchup on the road, Cousins will be pushed on the other side of the ball. There’s a real chance this KC/MIN game is heard from in GPPs.
