NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 17 (Fantasy Football)

For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature some combination of high rostered plays as well as lower rostered plays. When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. *Note – For this small 8-game slate, I plan to keep my player pool more condensed, using a combination of ‘cash plays’ and the following tournament plays. As a result, you’ll fewer recommended plays than usual given the context of the slate.

Quarterbacks

Jordan Love $6,200 @ MIN
If you read my DK Cash article this week or tuned into the DFS Podcast, you’re well aware that Packers and Vikings players are projecting well. I like stacking up Darnold (who I wrote up for cash), but I think playing the Love side of this game is just as interesting given the defensive matchup for the Vikings. Minnesota has been one of the best run defenses all year, and as a result, teams have been forced to air it out. We haven’t seen much pass volume from GB recently (just 23.8 pass attempts per game since the Week 10 bye), but a lot of that can be attributed to blow out wins over the Niners, Dolphins, Seahawks and Saints. On the road in the dome against one of the best offenses in football, Love should be forced to keep his foot on the gas for four quarters.
