NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 17 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have paths to a ceiling outcome at reduced roster percentage, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our lineup as well. When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterbacks
Justin Fields $7,900
No defense has allowed more rushing yards to opposing QBs than the Lions, and Fields is chasing the single-season QB rushing record. Last week, he only took off and ran seven times, his second-fewest this year. Just two weeks ago, he ran 15 times for 95 yards, so I don’t mind going right back to Fields in GPPs given that this Chicago/Detroit game is the best game environment on the slate. It’s the highest total, in a dome, and Fields has the ability to separate at the position. In addition to the rushing upside, this is a phenomenal matchup for Fields and the passing attack. Since Week 11, the Lions rank 30th in pass defense DVOA, 28th in success rate per drop back, 30th in EPA per drop back, and 31st in fantasy points per game allowed to QBs.
