NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 16 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have paths to a ceiling outcome at reduced roster percentage, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our lineup as well. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 16 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. For more on how to use roster percentages and build strong GPP lineups, be sure to check out this episode of the DFS Podcast.

Quarterbacks
Josh Allen $8,500 & Justin Fields $7,500
These two QBs play each other on Saturday in a game that projects for brutally cold temperatures and tons of wind. As a result, the field is off both of these QBs. My interest in these QBs is not because of their arms (though Josh Allen is capable of playing in bad weather) – it’s because of their ability to run for 50-100 yards and multiple TDs. If the wind is as bad as is projected (20-25mph, with gusts 30-35 mph), look for even more QB rushing, especially for Justin Fields. I’m particularly interested in Fields given that he’s chasing the all-time single season record currently held by Lamar Jackson. Fields himself even talked about it with reporters this week. Since Week 8, he leads all players in rushing fantasy points per game and has 21+ DraftKings points in seven straight starts.
Fields did say he hopes to set NFL's single-season QB rushing record held by Lamar Jackson (1206)
" I’m already deep in it this year so might as well try to go get that record. I think I need, what, 206? So, three games left? That’s about 70 yards a game? We’ll see what happens"
