NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 13 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 11 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Jalen Hurts $8,200 vs. SF
The chalk roster construction this week for cash games looks like spending down in the upper $5K range or lower $6K range, which makes spending up for Hurts intriguing on a slate that lacks other elite options (No Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc.). This is obviously a difficult matchup against a good SF defense, but Hurts’ ceiling keeps him in play for GPPs this week. No NFL QB has seen a higher designed rush attempt rate (26%) than the MVP favorite and 8% of his drop backs are resulting in a scramble. With that rushing role plus the ‘Tush Push’ from inside the 5-yard line, Hurts is the slate’s most likely QB to score a TD with his legs, and we know he’s more than capable of putting up a big stat line with his arm, too. Opponents against SF are throwing at the league’s second-highest rate in the NFL. For what feels like the first time in forever, the Eagles are actually underdogs here, potentially forecasting a spike in Hurts’ pass attempts if Philly falls behind in this potential NFC Championship preview.
