The Conference Championship Round is here, and we’re down to the final four! This article will be focused on the two-game Sunday slate on DraftKings. Below are a list of our top cash game plays as well as GPP targets. Usually, I split up my preferred cash plays and GPP plays, but given that we only have two games and four teams in our player pool, I’m going to list my top plays for both formats.

In order to best prepared for this slate, I’d recommend checking out these key resources:

In addition, our Roster Percentage Report can be a useful tool to identify some players who may go overlooked in large field tournaments this weekend. Let’s dive in!

Note: Plays listed below are in order of salary, NOT necessarily ranked by preferred plays.

Quarterbacks

Patrick Mahomes $7,600 vs. CIN
Mahomes’ ankle injury is taking all of the headlines on this slate, and while I do have some concerns about Mahomes’ ability to create his typical highlight reel plays out of the pocket, I’ll still have some exposure to the MVP at home. I wouldn’t go there in cash games given the ankle injury and price points (I prefer Hurts or Burrow at cost), but in tournaments, we know Mahomes has 300 and 3 in his bag any week.

Jalen Hurts $7,200 vs. SF
Considering price and projection, Jalen Hurts is my favorite QB play on the slate. Sure, the matchup against San Francisco isn’t ideal, but we’re bullish on the Eagles taking a pass heavy game plan against a Niners defense that’s a relative pass funnel. We’ve seen the Eagles offense be able to morph based on their opponents’ weakness. It’s notable that teams facing the Niners have thrown at the third-highest rate and seventh-highest pass rate over expectation. 74% of the yards the 49ers have allowed this year have come via the passing game, the second-highest rate in the league (only TEN allowed a higher rate). Of course, we know we’re likely to get rushing yards and goal line rushing opportunities from Hurts on top of that. We took the over on Hurts’ passing attempts prop.
