NFL DFS DraftKings Cash Picks: Week 9 (Fantasy Football)
NFL DFS cash games are all about building a high-floor lineup that can win in head-to-heads, 50/50s, and double-ups. Each week I’ll highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools.
For more on cash game strategy, be sure you listen to our DFS Cash Overview episode. Be sure you’re also subscribed to the DFS Podcast where Kyle and I go through the main slate every Friday and recap each slate on Tuesdays. Let’s get after it!

Jalen Hurts $8,000 vs. DAL
Hurts has just been so consistent this season, averaging 25 DraftKings points per game in 2023 while finishing as a top-10 fantasy QB in season long leagues in seven of eight games played. This matchup in particular isn’t ideal for Hurts given Dallas’ ability to get after the passer, but we know the Eagles’ O-line is one of the best in football, which should help offset the great Dallas pass rush. What is working in Hurts’ favor here is the fact that the Eagles’ 25-point team implied total is the highest on the slate, this game features the slate’s highest game total and he’s got all his weapons healthy and playing at a high level. The one concern I do have on Hurts is a lack of rushing that we’ve been accustomed to seeing over the last two years. Last week, in his first game since injuring his knee, he had just one scramble and three total designed rush attempts, most of which were the ‘Tush Push’. Even still, Hurts has been one of the NFL’s most efficient passers, ranking fifth in QB efficiency, fourth in yards per attempt and third in fantasy points per drop back.
